Manage Submission Agent

The Manage Submission Agent page allows an Account Manager (AM) to request updates to a submission agent’s information for the listed Responsible Reporting Entity (RRE) ID. The AM may add an agent if there is no agent currently associated with the RRE ID. They may also delete, replace, or change submission agent information.

This page shows the RRE ID and RRE Name for the currently selected RRE, and a history of all submitted requests for changes to the submission agent. If no requests to edit the agent have been submitted, the Submission Agent History Requests section of the page will not display. You can make updates to the submission agent information by clicking Update Agent and entering new information into the fields.

Note: If a request is currently pending, the submission agent information fields will be read-only. An RRE can only have one agent.

To add a new submission agent: 

1. Click Add Agent in the Submission Agent Information section.

This will refresh the page and open the Submission Agent Search section.

2. Enter the EIN/TIN for the agent’s company and click Search.

If the system locates a match for the EIN/TIN you have entered, it will ask you to review the information. If the system is unable to locate a match for the TIN/EIN entered, the Manage Submission Agent page will refresh with the Submission Agent Search section no longer displaying. If the correct reporting agent is not listed, check your entry and click Search Again to return to the Submission Agent Search to redo the search.

3. Click Continue to proceed or Cancel to return to the RRE Information Detail page.

The Submission Agent Add Confirmation pop-up window appears.

4. Click Confirm to submit the request and return to the RRE Information Detail page or click Cancel to return to the Manage Submission Agent page without submitting any changes.

To remove a submission agent:

1. Click Replace/Remove Agent in the Submission Agent Information section.

This will refresh the page and display individual buttons to remove or replace an agent.

2. Click Remove Agent.

This will refresh the page, showing information for the agent being removed.

3. Click Continue to proceed, or Cancel to end this request.

The Request for Submission Agent Information Update Confirmation pop-up window appears.

4. Click Confirm to submit the request and return to the RRE Information Detail page or click Cancel to return to the Manage Submission Agent page without submitting any changes.

To replace a submission agent:

1. Click Replace/Remove Agent in the Submission Agent Information section.

This will refresh the page and display individual buttons to remove or replace an agent.

2. Click Replace Agent.

This will refresh the page and open the Submission Agent Search section.

3. Enter the EIN/TIN for the agent’s company and click Search.

If the system locates a match for the EIN/TIN you have entered, it will ask you to review the information. If the system is unable to locate a match for the TIN/EIN entered, the Manage Submission Agent page will refresh with the Submission Agent Search section no longer displaying. If the correct reporting agent is not listed, check your entry and click Search Again to return to the Submission Agent Search and redo the search.

4. Click Continue to proceed or Cancel to return to the RRE Information Detail page.

The Request for Submission Agent Information Update Confirmation pop-up window appears. 

5. Click Confirm to submit the request and return to the RRE Information Detail page or click Cancel to return to the Manage Submission Agent page without submitting any changes.

To update submission agent information:

1. Click Update Agent Information in the Submission Agent Information section.

This will refresh the page, showing editable fields.

2. Enter new information into the fields.

3. Click Continue to proceed or Cancel to return to the RRE Information Detail page without submitting the request.

The Submission Agent Update Confirmation pop-up window appears.

4. Click Confirm to submit the request and return to the RRE Information Detail page or click Cancel to return to the Manage Submission Agent page without submitting any changes.
