The Case Notes page allows you to add free-form notes to a case. Notes have an 800-character maximum. This page is optional.
After entering a note in the text box, click the Add Note button to add your note to the case. Once a note has been added, the date the note was added, the name of the user who added the note, and the contents of the note display near the bottom of the page.
Click the X icon to delete a note from a case. A note can be deleted any time prior to a case's submission. Notes cannot be deleted once a case has been successfully submitted.
For cases in Work-In-Progress status, new notes can be added or existing notes deleted by any user with access to the case.
Case Notes Data Elements

| Delete | Click the X next to a note to delete it from the case. |
| Date Added | After a note has been added to a case, the date the note was added to the case displays here. |
| User | After a note has been added to a case, the user who entered the note displays here. |
| Notes | After a note has been added to a case, the contents of the note displays here. |
Click the Previous button to return to the previous page.
Click the Next button to save all information entered up to this point and proceed to the next page.
Click the Case Summary button to view a synopsis of the case information entered.
For new cases and cases in Work-In-Progress (WIP) status:
- Click the Save Work-In-Progress button to save all information entered up to this point. You can return to the WCMSAP at a later time to complete the case creation process.
- Click the Cancel Case Creation button to delete all information entered and cancel out of the case creation process.
