This page displays all cases associated with your Login ID that meet the search criteria you entered on the Case Lookup page.
Case Number – Case Control Number. Click the Case Number link to view case details on the Case Summary page.
Note: If a new case has been submitted as part of a required resubmission, both the new and original case numbers display as separate cases. When clicked, the original case displays as read-only.
Claimant Name – Name of the beneficiary on the case, as entered when the case was created.
Date of Injury – Date the first injury occurred.
Case Status – Status of the case. Options are (in alphabetical order for ease of use):
- APPR - Approved
- ASGN - Assigned
- BUND - Beneficiary Under Threshold (No CMS Review)
- CLOS - Closed
- CLTR - Closeout (letter was sent)
- COMG - Commingled
- COMP - Completed
- DECD - Deceased
- DENY - Denied (unable to process case)
- DEVP - In Development
- DISP - WCRC Recommendation Completed (at RO)
- DREC - Document Received
- OPCM - Reopened (after RO/COMP)
- RECD - Received
- REOP - Reopened (after RO/CLOS)
- RTND - Under Threshold - Non-Beneficiary Case (No CMS Review)
- WIP - Work In Progress. Not submitted (WCMSAP only)
- ZERO - Zero Set-aside
A case status of "Approved" means the Regional Office has approved and is working the case; an Approval letter may not have been generated yet. Once the Regional Office has completed their review of the case, the user will receive an email alert notification and they can go to the Alert Listing page and retrieve the approval letter. If no settlement information has been submitted for cases in "Approved" (APPR) status, users with appropriate access in the Workers' Compensation Case Control System (WCCCS) can send Approval Follow-up letters, as needed, to remind submitters and beneficiaries to submit settlement information. When sent, authorized WCMSAP users on the cases will be notified by email. Users can also view the follow-up letter by clicking the Alert ID links on the Alert Listing page.
Case Location – Location of the case. Options are:
- Submitter
- WCRC
- RO (Regional Office)
Creation Date – Date the case was created.
Submission Date – Date the case or Amended Re-Review Request was submitted.
Case Access – Click the Manage Access link to grant or revoke Designee access to a case (Account Managers only).
Click the Previous button to return to the Case Lookup page.
Click the Cancel button to return to the Home page.
