Section 111 Mandatory Reporting Application (MRA)

How To Use This Site


In the header of any page of the Section 111 COB Secure Website (COBSW), you will find the following menu options:

  • About This Site - This option provides the purpose of the site and general information on how to use it.
  • CMS Links - This section provides links to the dedicated MMSEA Section 111 Web page, and general Medicare and Coordination of Benefits pages on the CMS website.
  • How To... - This option provides general instructions on how to get started, register, and complete account setup on the Section 111 COBSW.
  • Reference Materials - This option provides links to view and download the GHP and Liability/No Fault/Workers’ Compensation User Guides, this application user guide, diagnosis and error code lists, and the HEW software. (Before you log in, the Reference Materials list is limited to the GHP and Liability/No Fault/Workers’ Compensation User Guides, and the diagnosis code lists.)
  • Contact Us - This section provides information on how to contact the Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center.

The area on the right side of the Login page contains fields related to Account Login:

  • Once you have obtained your Login ID and Password for the Section 111 COBSW, you will enter them here and click the Login button to sign on to the application.
  • Forgot Login ID link - If you already have a Login ID and Password for the Section 111 COBSW but have forgotten the Login ID you created, you may use this link to request it.
  • Forgot Password link - If you already have a Login ID and Password for the Section 111 COBSW but have forgotten your Password, you may use this link to reset it.

The area near the bottom of the Login page contains two buttons:

  • Step 1 New Registration - Click this button if this is the first time you have accessed the Section 111 COBSW to register and obtain a Section 111 Reporter ID (RRE ID).
  • Step 2 Account Set Up – Click this button if you have gone through the initial registration process and have received your mailing containing your Responsible Reporting Entity Identification Number (RRE ID) and Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the BCRC. You will need the RRE ID and PIN to continue with the Account Setup process.

At the bottom of any page on the site, there are links to the Section 111 COBSW Privacy Policy and User Agreement.
