How to Change Your Password
The Section 111 COB Web Site Portal requires users to change
their password every 60 days. The system will prompt you to make
this change. You can only update your password once per day.
If you forget your password, please refer to How to Request
Your Password under the How To... menu option.
- On the RRE Listing page, click the Change Password link in the Account Settings box on the right side of the page.
This displays the Change Password page.
- Enter your Current or Temporary Password, as applicable.
Note: Temporary passwords are provided during password
resets.
- Enter and re-enter a new password following the listed
guidelines.
- Click Continue to display the Change
Password Confirmation page.
- Click Continue to go to the RRE Listing
page. Use your new password the next time you log in to the
Section 111 application.
If you are unsuccessful in changing your password, contact
an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Representative at (646)
458-6740 for assistance.
Password Requirements
- Password must be changed every sixty (60) days
- Password must be at least eight (8) characters
- Password must contain at least one upper-case letter, one
lower-case letter, one number and one special character
- Password must contain a minimum of four (4) changed
characters from the previous password
- Password cannot be changed more than once per day
- Password must be different from the previous twenty-four
(24) passwords
- Password cannot contain a reserved word (see the
user guide for a list)
Changing Temporary Passwords
When you have forgotten your password and have been sent a
temporary one, you are required to change it the next time you log
into the Section 111 application. During this process, you will
have the option to change or keep the security questions and
answers previously selected.
- Security Question 1: Select or confirm your
security question.
- Answer 1: Enter or confirm the answer to Security
Question 1.
- Security Question 2: Select or confirm your second
security question.
- Answer 2: Enter or confirm the answer to Security
Question 2.
Please Note: When you change your password in the Section
111 COBSW Portal, it will also be changed for all the following
Coordination of Benefits (COB) secure web applications for which
you are a registered user: Workers’ Compensation Medicare
Set-Aside Portal (WCMSAP), Medicare Secondary Payer Recovery
Portal (MSPRP), and the Commercial Repayment Center Portal (CRCP).
