Account Manager Login Information Page

This page is used to create a login ID and password which will allow the Medicare Secondary Payer Recovery Portal (MSPRP) to authenticate your identity each time you log in to the MSPRP. All fields are required.

Table 1: Login ID and Password

FieldDescription
Login ID

The unique username (ID) that you will use in conjunction with your password to log in to the MSPRP. Field requirements:

  • Must be 7 characters
  • Must be unique within the system - not match another user's
  • Must be in the format of AA999AA (first two alphabetic, next three numeric, last two alphabetic)
Password

A word or character string used in conjunction with your login ID to authenticate you and allow entry to the MSPRP. You are required to change your password every 60 days. Field requirements:

  • Password must consist of at least eight (8) characters.
  • Password must contain at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, one number and one special character.
  • Password must contain a minimum of four (4) changed characters from the previous password.
  • Password cannot be changed more than once per day.
  • Password must be different from the previous twenty four (24) passwords.
  • Password cannot contain any one of these reserved words:

Choose questions and answers that can be easily remembered. This information will allow you to access your Login ID and reset your password in the event you forget either one.

Click Previous to submit the Account Manager Login ID and proceed to the Account Manager Summary page.

Click Continue to return to the Account Manager Personal Information page
