Users who wish to view unmasked beneficiary information on the MSPRP will be required to activate a factor on the MSPRP. A factor is an authentication application downloaded to your device by which you can generate and receive verification codes. You may either use Okta Verify or Google Authenticator, your choice. When you log in using a factor, the system will ask you to open the app on your device and either tap a button to approve a push notification or enter the code displayed there. After you enter the code on the MSPRP or approve the push notification, you will be able to view unmasked beneficiary information. If you choose to log in without using MFA, beneficiary information will be masked from your view on the MSPRP.
The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Maintenance page displays the factor(s) associated with your login ID. From this page, you can activate a new factor, or activate a registered factor in a Pending Activation status, by clicking the Activate Factor button, or deactivate a factor no longer in use by clicking Deactivate Factor. You must have at least one factor in active status to view unmasked case information on the MSPRP.
You must complete the ID Proofing process before you can activate factors on the MSPRP. You can have up to two factors in active status (i.e., a maximum of one Okta Verify and one Google Authenticator factor). You may also deactivate factors at any time.
Note: Existing Voice Call and Text Message (SMS) factors associated with your login ID will be deactivated after March 1, 2025. To maintain access after that date, must register a new factor to replace those at that time.
Once you have activated the factor of your choosing, click Cancel to return to the Account List page. To use your newly active factor, log out and log in again using MFA.
