Initiate Demand Letter Confirmation

This page confirms that you are ready to submit a request for a demand letter now. The case ID, beneficiary last name, and Medicare ID (Health Insurance Claim Number [HICN] or Medicare Beneficiary Identifier [MBI]) for the case are displayed at the top of the page.

Note: HICNs are masked unless you are the beneficiary, or you have logged in using multi-factor authentication.

By initiating this action you are confirming that you agree with the Conditional Payment Amount identified in the Conditional Payment Notice (CPN) and you will receive a demand letter earlier than the default 30-day time period.

Click Continue to submit your demand letter request. The demand letter will be processed, and you will receive notification within 7-12 business days. If the MSPRP account is currently receiving letter notification emails instead of mailed letters for the case (i.e., a green leaf icon appears to the right of the case ID), you will receive an email notification. If not, you will receive a mailed letter.
