If more than one case is returned in a search on the New Case Request page, the results will be displayed here on the Case Results page, up to a maximum of ten cases. Results are listed in ascending numerical order by case ID. The case IDs displayed will either be the Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center "BCRC Case ID" (BCRC insurer cases and all beneficiary cases) or Commercial Repayment Center "CRC Recovery ID" (CRC insurer cases).
Click on the case ID number view to see the individual case. Clicking the number will also associate the case with your account.
The following columns are shown for results on this page:
- Case ID (linked to the corresponding Case Information page)
- Beneficiary (Bene) Last Name
- Medicare ID (Health Insurance Claim Number [HICN] or Medicare Beneficiary Identifier [MBI] or Social Security Number [SSN])
Note: HICNs and SSNs are partially masked by asterisks, unless you are the beneficiary, or you have logged in using multi-factor authentication.
- Bene Date of Birth (DOB)
- Date of Incident (DOI)
- Industry DOI
- Insurance Type (Liability, No-Fault, or Workers' Compensation)
- Case Status (In Development, Open, Claim Retrieval, Demand, Demand in Progress, Transitioned (CRC only), Bill Issued (BCRC only), or Closed)
- Contractor (BCRC or CRC)
All cases are sortable by column, using arrows at the top of each column.
Note: The case ID link, and therefore the page functionality, is unavailable during nightly system processing cycles.
Click Cancel at the bottom of the page to return to the New Case Request page without associating a case with your account and with search fields cleared.
Click Previous to return to the New Case Request page with current search field values shown.
