Designee Listing

The Designee Listing page lists the account designees (ADs) assigned to your account. The account manager (AM) uses this page to add, edit, and delete designees from those associated with the account. To perform these functions for more than one account, click the Designee Maintenance link in the Account Settings box on your Account ID page. See the MSPRP User Guide for step details.

ADs assist the AM with the MSPRP case recovery process. They can be established for Corporate and Representative accounts. The number of ADs associated with one MSPRP account is dependent on the account type. Corporate accounts may have up to 200 ADs. Representative accounts may have up to 5 ADs. (Note: AMs should periodically review their designees and delete users who should no longer have access.)

This page shows the total number of designees and the following fields for each designee.

Note: Three columns have sorting and filtering capability: Last Name, Status, and Last Login Date. To filter/search by last name, enter part or all of a name in the text field at the column head. To filter by status or last login date, choose the status or date range of last login from the drop-down box at the column head. To reverse the sort order, click the arrow in the column header. Use the Clear Filters button to reset the display to its original unfiltered state.

Designee Listing Information

FieldDescription
Clear FiltersClick this button to clear any filters you have applied in the Last Name, Status, or Last Login Date columns.
Delete (X)Click this icon to remove the AD from the account. The Delete Designee Confirmation page appears as a result.
Last NameLast name of the AD.

Note: Searchable and filterable column: click the arrows in the header to sort or reverse the sort order; type a search term into the box at the top of the column to filter for names beginning with that value.

If the status of the AD is Pending, you can click their last name to go to the Update Designee Information page. On this page, you can change the AD name, e-mail, and/or passphrase and also request to regenerate the invitation email.
First NameFirst name of AD.
Email AddressAD email address. This is the email address to which the invitation email was sent.
PassphraseA short sequence of case-sensitive letters, numbers, and/or symbols up to 30 characters long that was developed by the AM for the AD to use when they register(ed) for the first time on the MSPRP to obtain a login ID.
Status

Indicates the status of the designee on your account and whether the designee is able to access the MSPRP account to submit cases, perform case lookups, view cases, update cases, and access alerts.

Note: Sortable and filterable column: click the arrows in the header to sort or reverse sort order; click the drop-down menu at the top of the column to show only designees with that status.

Possible values:

  • Pending - The AD has been invited to the MSPRP account, but has not yet obtained a Login ID.
Instruct the designee to follow the link in the invitation email sent by the MSPRP. The designee will need to enter the passphrase created by the Account Manager. The Account Manager can click on the designee's last name to edit their information, or resend an invitation email to that designee.
  • Active - The AD has registered on the MSPRP and has access to the MSPRP account.
  • Locked - The AD has entered their password incorrectly too many times and is currently locked out of the system. Instruct the designee to perform the Forgot Password function on the Welcome! page.
  • Expired - The AD has not changed their password for more than 60 days and is denied access to the MSPRP. Instruct the designee to change their password using the Change Password function on the Welcome! page.
  • Revoked - The AD's Login ID has been revoked and has no access to the MSPRP. Contact your Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Representative with questions about this status.

Note: This is not the same as revoking a designee's access to a single case. If an AM revokes access to a specific case (using the Manage Case Access link on the Case Listing page), the case won't display on the designee's case listing, but their status will still display as Active.
Last Login Date

Indicates the last date the designee logged in to an account in any COBSW application. Sortable and filterable. Filter range values include:

  • 0-14 days inactive
  • 15-29 days inactive
  • 30-44 days inactive
  • 45+ days inactive

Note: This list automatically sorts blank values to the top.
