View Redetermination (First Level Appeal) Submission

After submitting a redetermination request successfully on the MSPRP, you can view a read-only version of that request on the View Redetermination (First Level Appeal) Submission page. This page also displays redetermination status information.

View Redetermination (First Level Appeal) Submission Fields

Field Description
Case ID The Case ID associated with the redetermination submission.
Redetermination Received: Date the redetermination request was received (submitted on the MSPRP).
Redetermination Decision: The CMS decision regarding the redetermination. Values may include:
  • Pending Review: The redetermination decision is under review.
  • Denied
  • Dismissals: We have considered and reviewed your request. However, based on the information submitted, we were not able to process it.
  • Dismissed - Missing documentation
  • Dismissed - Not authorized to appeal
  • Dismissed - Untimely filing
  • Dismissed - Due to interest
  • Dismissed - Missing/Invalid POR
  • Favorable: All of the claims submitted with your request have been removed from your case and will no longer be included with the amount owed to Medicare.
  • Partially Favorable: Some of the claims submitted with your request have been removed from your case and the rest will continue to be included with the amount owed to Medicare.
  • Unfavorable: None of the claims submitted with your request have been removed from your case and will continue to be included with the amount owed to Medicare.
  • Duplicate Request
Redetermination Decision Date: Date a decision was made on the redetermination request. This field is blank if a decision has not yet been made.
Claims submitted with the redetermination request and currently associated to the case: List of claims submitted for redetermination request and still associated to the case.
Notes submitted with the redetermination request: Free form text submitted with the redetermination request.
Documents submitted with the redetermination request: List of documents submitted with redetermination request.
