Submit Case Documentation

The Submit Case Documentation page allows you to submit up to five types of additional supporting documents. You cannot use this to support documentation on cases that have been referred to Treasury. Please note—you cannot submit a new defense for a claim or claim line using this process.

To submit supporting documentation:

  1. Select a document type from the drop-down menu. Please combine documents of the same document type into one file when possible. 

    Only documentation for the selected document type should be uploaded. To ensure proper handling, requests for other types of defense must be submitted by returning to this page, selecting the applicable document type, and uploading the related documentation.

    Available document types:

    • Additional Defense Documentation— used to submit additional defense documentation for an existing defense that is pending a CRC decision
    • Authorization Correspondence
    • Payment Correspondence
    • Refund Request
    • Status Inquiry/Other
  2. Click the Upload Documentation link.
    The link is enabled when you choose a document type.
  3. Use the Upload Documentation page to upload up to five documents of the selected type, then return to this page.


    You will see the chosen documents listed on this page, with name, file type, and a Delete link next to each in case you have chosen a document in error.

    You may repeat this process for each document type. If you have more than five files to upload per document type, you may repeat this process from the beginning.

    Notes: If you receive an error message, none of the files will be uploaded. You must correct the problem(s) and choose new, error-free files to upload.

    Files selected for upload must meet the following criteria:

    • File is in .PDF format.
    • File is virus free.
    • File is not encrypted.
    • File size is less than or equal to 40 MB (megabytes) in size.
    • The page size of pages included in the file must not be larger than 8.5 by 11 inches.
    • File name is 80 characters or less.
    • File name only includes the following valid alphanumeric characters: any letter (A-Z, a-z), any number (0-9), and any of the following special characters: hyphen (-), period (.) and underscore (_).
    • File name does not include spaces.
  4. When you have assembled all the documents you wish to upload and they are listed on this page, click Continue to upload them to the CRCP. A confirmation page will appear. Or click Cancel to return to the Case Information page without submitting any documents.
