The Personal Identification Number (PIN) Request page is the first step in the PIN request process. It is used by the CRCP to verify that the registrant has the correct credentials to register with the CRCP application.
The person completing this page should be the Authorized Representative (AR) for your organization, or someone completing it on behalf of the AR. This is usually a senior executive/partner of your company/firm. The AR initiates the registration process but will not have direct access to the CRCP application and cannot be a portal user.
At the completion of the PIN Request and verification process, the AR will receive an email with a numeric PIN. The account ID is provided at the end of the PIN Request process on the PIN Request Completed Successfully Thank You page. Therefore, you should print this page for your records. The AR must provide the account ID and PIN to your company’s designated Account Manager (AM). The AM will then complete the Account Setup process.
See the How to Get Started help page under the How To menu to learn more about the AR and other CRCP user roles.

Defense Letter: Enter the Case ID
The Case ID is a 17-byte alpha-numeric field, which may begin with a "C" followed by a dash (-). Include this character when entering the ID. No other special characters are allowed.
Demand Letter: Enter the Total Debt Due
The Total Debt Due is a nine-byte numeric dollar amount field with a two-byte numeric cents field. Enter this amount exactly as it appears on your letter. Do not include the dollar ($) sign or decimal. Enter "00" in the cents field if there are no cents.
- Click Continue to continue to the next step, or click Cancel to display the Cancel Confirmation page. From the Cancel Confirmation page, click Cancel to redisplay the Personal Identification Number (PIN) Request page with all information intact; or click Continue to return to the Welcome to the CRCP page with no information saved.
The CRCP will only allow three attempts in a single session to perform a successful PIN Request with valid data entries. After the third failed PIN Request attempt when you select Continue, the CRCP will display the Contact the Commercial Repayment Center (CRC) page, which displays the following contact information:
