The ID Proofing Core Credentials page allows you to enter personal information and submit it to Experian to validate your identity as part of the ID Proofing process.
First and Last Name fields are pre-filled and are the ones associated with your login ID. These names must match your full legal name, or Experian will not be able to validate your identity. If you need to make corrections, click Cancel on this page and make any changes through the Update Personal Information page.
Address information entered on this page should match your current home address in order for Experian to verify your identity and assist you in successfully completing the ID Proofing process. Do not use a business address. Military APO addresses are valid for this form, but foreign addresses are not.
When you click Continue, you will see an error message if any of the data you entered fails a validation check. Data validation corrections do not count towards your total submission attempts.
If you click Continue and the submission fails after three attempts to validate your ID, your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Status is automatically set to Pending Phone or Pending Verification, and the CRCP will provide information on next steps for verification.
Note: If you attempt the ID Proofing process in the MSPRP and your submission fails, it also counts toward your total number of allowed attempts.
When the submission is successful and Experian is able to verify your identity, the CRCP will display the MFA Maintenance page to register and activate a factor. If Experian is unable to verify your identity, the CRCP will display the Contact BCRC page or the Contact Experian page.

| First Name | Required. Pre-filled by the CRCP. This name is associated with your login ID. The name may be a maximum of 15 characters, and blanks or special characters are not allowed. The first three characters cannot be "C/O" and the first three letters cannot be "AKA." If you have two first names, enter your primary name in this field and your secondary name in the middle name field. |

| Last Name | Required. Pre-filled by the CRCP. This name is associated with your login ID. The name may be from 2 to 25 characters and may contain a hyphen or apostrophe. Spaces are not allowed. The first three characters cannot be "C/O". If you have two last names, enter a hyphen to split the last name. |

The field cannot start with 000, 666, or 900-999. Note: The SSN will not be stored in the CRCP database. |

| Personal E-mail Address | Required. Maximum address length is 80 characters. Any valid email format is accepted. It does not need to match the one associated with your login ID. Do not use a business email. |

| Home Address Line 1 | Required. Maximum length is 30 characters. The field is alphanumeric and can only include spaces, # (pound), dashes, slashes, apostrophes, commas, and periods. Do not enter extraneous symbols. Do not use commas in Home Address Line 1; instead, use Home Address Line 2 for unit numbers. Do not use a business address. Military APO addresses are valid but foreign addresses are not. |
| Home Address Line 2 | Optional. The same restrictions apply as Home Address Line 1 except the maximum field length is 29 characters. Use this line for unit numbers. |
