Case Search Page

The Case Search page allows you to search for specific cases associated with an account ID. To search for a case, enter the case ID and click Search. Note: You can click the Search Hint link for additional details about use of wildcard characters (the percent sign, %) in the search field.

Your search results will appear in a table at the bottom of the page, listing the following information:

• Case ID (hyperlink to the Case Information page)
• Demand ID (hyperlink to the Demand Detail page for the selected demand)

• Medicare ID (HICN or MBI) (first 5 characters are masked for HICNs, unless you log in using multi-factor authentication)

  Note: This is also known as the Medicare Number to CMS' Medicare beneficiaries.

• Beneficiary First Name
• Beneficiary Last Name
• Case Demand Amount
• Case Status (Open or Closed)
  Note: Any case with a balance greater than zero will be listed as Open, while any case with a balance of zero will be listed as Closed.
• Date Closed

Note: Search results are displayed initially in ascending order by case ID, but you can also sort on the Demand ID, Medicare ID, Beneficiary Last Name, and Case Demand Amount fields.

Click Cancel to cancel your search request and return to the Account Detail page.
